WELCOME TO THE PENANCE PROJECT

Our mission is: To promote the Sacrament of Penance through which God provides forgiveness and grace to those who seek it.

How does the project plan on accomplishing that mission?

This project will promote the Sacrament of Penance through evagelization in these ways:
    • Through the content provided on this website, a community of supporters, and through media technologies that enable us to publish and promote via the Internet.
    • By giving away "The Penance Kit" for free. This kit is a collection of documents that informs you about:
      1. The Sacrament of Penance, what it is and why it is important in our lives.
      2. How to prepare for confession.
      3. What is involved and how to make a good confession.
      4. Absolution, what it is, what it does, and why it makes you feel wonderful.
      5. What to do after confessing and receiving Absolution.
      6. Prayers used before, during, and after confession.
